VISA INFORMATION FOR THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA

 

TYPES OF VISA

Types of visa available are:
1) Short stay visa (type C visa)
2) Temporary residence visa (type D visa).

VISA C  (For short stay in Serbia up to 90 days): - Visa Fee = € 62

Short stay visas are mainly issued for tourism, business as well as other traveling needs including a single, double or multiple entries into the Republic of Serbia.

The duration of an uninterrupted stay, and/or the total duration of successive visits of a foreigner with a short stay visa shall not exceed 90 days within a period of six months which began on the day of the first entry.
 

VISA C REQUIREMENTS (Individual short stay in Serbia up to 90 days):

o Valid passport (passport must be valid at least 90 days from issue date of visa)
o Completed Visa Application Form (PDF or MS Word format)
o Photo (Size 3,5 x 4,5 cm) - Attach your photograph on the visa application form
o Invitation letter.
For a private visit, an invitation letter from a relative or a friend from Serbia is required (signature certified in a municipality or in Notarial office).
If applying for a BUSINESS VISA, please enclose an official invitation from the company in Serbia, stating the nature of the business, expected duration of the visit as well as the name and address of the company or institution you are visiting. Also needed is a letter from the pertinent company which you are representing.
o Proof of sufficient funds for staying in Serbia

o Proof of flight reservation or Itinerary (copy of International Driving License, Title and Insurance if you travel by car)

o Proof of the payment of the amount of 62 euros to the Embassy.

o Marriage certificate if married to a Serbian national

o Journalist ID, or accreditation from the editorial office for reporting from Serbia (for journalists)

o Proof of residence (if you are not residing in your native country)

It is necessary to send by e mail the proof of the bank payment immediately to the Embassy e mail address along with all other requested documentation – in payment slip, Please put the name of the person who applied for visa.

Notice: The visa fee of 100 Euros is required for Gabon (in this case please call the Embassy for a detailed explanation).

VISA D (Visa for temporary stay – more than 90 days) : Visa Fee = € 32

A temporary residence visa implies permission of entry and possibility to submit request for temporary residence for foreigners in the Republic of Serbia. 

VISA D REQUIREMENTS (Visa for temporary stay – from 91 to 180 days):

o Valid passport (passport must be valid at least 90 days from issue date of visa)
o Completed Visa Application Form (PDF or MS Word format)
o Photo (Size 3,5 x 4,5 cm) - Attach your photograph on the visa application form
o Proof of reasons for stay in Serbia. Please see information below  (*) on required documents depending on the reason of your temporary stay in Serbia. 
o Proof of residence (if you are not residing in your native country)
o Proof of sufficient funds for staying in Serbia and proof of health insurance
o Proof of the payment of the amount of 32 euros to the Embassy.

Additional documents required for different purposes:

1. Marriage:

Copy of Registration of a Marriage in International forms or Serbian certificate, or some other countries, translated into English and legalized from the Ministry of foreign Affairs of that country.

Visa D can also be applied in the case of an extramarital community, but in this case it is necessary to submit the following documentation: Certificates on free marital status, statements of extramarital partners and verification of two witnesses on the partner's community, proof of the joint address of the dwelling, exit from the register extramural communities.

 2. Work:   

a.          Labor contract, work contract, business technical cooperation contract or other document proving the worker engagement of a foreigner in Serbia

b.         Copy of registration of a legal entity (company), company, sports club or association or entrepreneur in Republic of Serbia

3. Studying and Schooling

a.       Certificate of enrolment in an accredited primary, secondary or higher education institution,

b.      Certificate of registration of a legal entity (school, college) in Serbia,

c.       Certificate of organization of professional practice and specialization

d.      Certificate of registration of a scientific research organization and contract concluded by a scientific research organization. 1. Certified copies of completed basic academic studies of the visa applicant (if the person intends to continue his / her postgraduate studies in Serbia (master / phd), translated into English or Serbian, 2. Certified copies on the previously completed visa application form, which is necessary for the continuation of further education within the regular basic academic studies; college (elementary or postgraduate).

An overview of cases in which no visa fee is applicable:

o Children up to six years old pays only 2 euros for visa sticker (when visa is granted)
o Victims of human trafficking
o Persons entering the Republic of Serbia in an organized manner, through humanitarian organization, in order to offer humanitarian assistance
o Participants of cultural, educational, sports and other similar events, if the country of origin of the visa applicant concerned exempts participants from the Republic of Serbia from the payment of tax
o Visiting the Republic of Serbia for the purpose of emergency medical treatment, providing relief in the events of natural disaster and other disaster, participation in the economic development projects, donation activities, etc.
o Based on international agreements, students, university students, lecturers and researchers, at the invitation of authorities and organizations from the Republic of Serbia, or for the purpose of studying, lecturing or specialization.
o Holders of diplomatic, official passports or passports issued by international organizations recognized by the Republic of Serbia, subject to reciprocity.

 

VISA INFORMATION FOR THE REPUBLIC OF MONTENEGRO

 

The Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Jakarta only receive the visa applications for Montenegro for the Indonesian nationals. Citizens of other countries who want to apply for visa for Montengro should contact the nearest Embassy of the Republic of Montenegro.

VISA C  (For short stay up to 90 days): Visa Fee = € 124

Short stay visas are mainly issued for tourism, business as well as other traveling needs including a single, double or multiple entries.

The duration of an uninterrupted stay, and/or the total duration of successive visits of a foreigner with a short stay visa shall not exceed 90 days within a period of six months which began on the day of the first entry.
A short stay visa with the multiple entry option can be issued with the validity of up to one year.

VISA C REQUIREMENTS (Individual short stay up to 90 days):

o Valid passport (passport must be valid at least 90 days from issue date of visa)
o Completed Visa Application Form (PDF format)
o Photo (Size 3,5 x 4,5 cm) - Attach your photograph on the visa application form
o Invitation letter. For a private visit, a certified invitation letter from a relative or a friend is required.
If applying for a business visa, please enclose an official invitation from the company, stating the nature of the business, expected duration of the visit as well as the name and address of the company or institution you are visiting. Also needed is a letter from the pertinent company which you are representing.

o Journalist ID, or accreditation from the editorial office for reporting (for journalists)

o Proof of the payment of the amount of 124 euros to the Embassy
